History of the new “Lending Library”
From from 2004 - 2006, FAB Radio had audioshows and other mp3s to download via Bitpass. Once Bitpass closed shop, there were no longer any downloads. The idea of selling downloads (for as inepensively as possible) was to fund the free Listening Library. For those many people who enjoy the Listening Library, the downloads in the Lending Library help to fund it so that it can remain free. The fees charged for audios are usually $1.00 or 50 cents. The Lending Library fees help to: Keep the Listening Library free to listen and cover any costs incurred eg bandwidth fees charged to FAB Radio. Bandwidth usage increases whenever a visitor comes online and so the bandwidth fees increase.
Why call it a “Long-term Lending Library” rather that downloads for a fee?
Downloads often imply that after paying for the download, the download may or may not be freely available to do with what one likes.
We have called it “Lending Library” To emphasise that the published audios belong to FAB Radio. And also to differentiate between “listening to mp3s” onsite as in the “Listening Library” and “taking the mp3s away with you” as in the “Lending Library”.
In Australia and US and UK and perhaps other countries, Vintage Goon Shows are in the Public Domain. So FAB Radio has remastered, correctly named and published under FAB Radio Copyright, trading as SeeSaw Children’s Foundation, a non-profit group under Australian Tax Law.
How does the Lending Library work?
These audio files are for your entertainment only.
On downloading an audio, you are licensed to listen, to copy to transfer to a listening device on your own computer or device.
You may not pass it or or share it or send it to anyone else apart from yourself. You are not licensed to use them for any commercial, hire, lend or resale purpose.
If others would like it, they must pay the download fee.
When you no longer require the download, you can delete it.
You do not have to notify or return the download to FAB Radio.

At the moment, there are a some Vintage Goon show mp3s to download at $1.00 each.
