Navy Lark brought fame for a young Ronnie Barker. Before HMS troutbridge came along, Barker had performed in The Floggits (which also featured Anthony Newley and Joan Sims), but the stars of the show, Elsie and Doris Waters, were jealous that he got too many laughs, so the appearance was short-lived.

  • admin : so for now those files i have re-uploaded and checked are NO LONGER WORKING ! EEK! i have looked for over 2 years for a file storage solution, and though archive.org provided a solution. perhaps not.
  • admin : we are having problems... i asked archive.org to delete certain messy entries i made, and now they are (seemingly) deleting ALL of my uploaded files. i have emailed and no reply as yet.
  • admin : many audios are now checked and working well: Last of the Summer Wine, Cow Pie Radio, Danny Kaye, Interviews, Poetry and Verse, 5 Minute Mysteries, Black Museum, Campbell Playhouse, Christmas Shows, Hancock's Half Hour, Omar, Sherlock Holmes, Clitheroe Kid, Navy Lark and the Whistler
