Beginnings
FAB Radio began in 2003 when I was looking for educational and entertaining audio for myself and friends and our children. None of us had tv, nor did we feel the lack. Yet we were also finding it difficult to find time to read. We wanted good quality literature, interviews, radio shows, yet did not want our children to have to search, so began our collection in one place for our children’s edutainment! Over the years, more friends became interested, and so began my sprucing up of this site. Several sites and hosts later, it is at last becoming cohesive.
Mission
And, now for the benefit of friends unknown who also wish to access the audios, there is a new service: FAB Weekly. The Audio Archives are on holiday at the moment while our external hard drive get reinstated - you will find some live shows there though. Enjoy! Where known, the source of content is displayed, especially independent musicians, and FAB encourages you to buy if available.
